Terms and Conditions




  1. Payments & Confirmations. A valid credit or debit card is required to guarantee the booking and to take appropriate deposits as per your reservation’s chosen rate plan.

Your card will be preauthorised for a total amount of £100 or more (or £500 for group booking) 4days prior to arrival. Full payment of the booking will be due on arrival.

Reservations made via telephone are not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation email. Stay Metro Aparthotels accepts no liability for people who arrive at the apartment accommodation before receipt of this confirmation email. Any booking made through the Stay Metro Aparthotels website is strictly non-commissionable.


  1. Accepted forms of payment. Stay Metro Aparthotels accept Visa card (credit & debit), Mastercard (credit & debit) and American Express card. Bank transfers are also accepted by Stay Metro Aparthotels, however, it is strictly subject to discretion of manager. All Bank transfers must first be confirmed and pre-arranged with Stay Metro Aparthotels. All amounts must reach our accounts before any guest can check-in to the accommodation. Please note that a reservation remains a provisional one until the deposit/full payment has been received. There is a £15 administration charge applied to each bank transfer. This must be added to the total before sending the transfer through to Stay Metro Aparthotels & Style Plus Group (parent company) accounts.


For any Promotional bookings, Flash Deals & Non Refundable bookings, the cardholder must be the lead guest of the booking (excluding corporate bookings). Stay Metro Aparthotels cannot accept any promotional sale/Non refundable booking where the cardholder is not present at check-in. Please note, you will be refused to stay and no refunds will be given if the card holder is not present at the time of check-in. For all other bookings, the card used for the booking must be brought to reception at the time of check-in (excluding corporate bookings). Payments made at reception on a debit card or credit card must be chipped and pinned.


  1. Cancellations and alterations. Cancellations are processed as per the cancellation policy of your chosen rate plan (Best Flexible, Best Saver etc.). Applicable cancellation fee applies if cancelled outside free cancellation window. Modifications are not allowed outside free cancellation/modification window (Modification window is same as cancellation window). Best Saver & other Non Refundable reservations cannot be modified at any time. Total price of reservation will be the cancellation fee for Best Saver/Non refundable booking if cancelled. Please refer to the cancellation policy of your booking for more details.

For Long Term Bookings, please refer to the specific agreement and policy that is outlined in the quote and/or confirmation for applicable cancellation and alteration policies and charges associated.

Once Cancelled, booking cannot be re-instated.

All cancellations need to be received by Stay Metro Aparthotels in writing by e-mail and will only be effective on the date of written receipt. Emails can be sent to Stay Metro Aparthotels advises guests to obtain personal travel insurance covering their accommodation. Administration fees are non refundable in the event of a cancellation.


If you need to alter your booking, you must inform Stay Metro Aparthotels by writing to the above email address stating what part of the booking that you want to alter. Promotional Sale/ Flash Deals and all Non Refundable bookings cannot be altered in any way.

For Best Flexible rate bookings, the booking can be altered up to 7 days before arrival. For group bookings, the booking can be altered up to 14 days before arrival or the period specified in your booking confirmation. For long term bookings, alterations are subject to the specific agreement and policy that is outlined in the specific quote. All alterations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Stay Metro Aparthotels. Once alterations are confirmed, Stay Metro Aparthotels will send a new confirmation with the alterations. Each alteration for the booking will be charged at £10 per alteration.





General Cancellation policy and applicable charges

Cancellation outside 7 Days of arrival = No Cancellation Fee

Cancellation within 7 Days of arrival = 30% Cancellation Fee

Cancellation within 5 Days of arrival or NoShow = 100% Cancellation Fee

Cancellation at any time after booking = 100% Cancellation Fee

Refunds are credited to the same card/method used for payment. Please note that all administration charges are non-refundable.


  1. Extending Your Stay: Extensions of bookings are subject to availability and are subject to rate changes. Stay Metro Aparhotels cannot guarantee extensions at the time of the original booking.


  1. Complaints: Stay Metro Aparthotels have made every reasonable effort to ensure the freshness, quality and value of your accommodation and other services. In the event of a complaint, guests may contact Stay Metro Aparthotels during their stay at the apartment and we will do our utmost to assist you. However, ultimately we cannot accept liability for guest dissatisfaction with our apartments. Stay Metro Aparthotels cannot assist guests who first submit complaints after departing the hotel accommodation. Some times we use 3rd party agents to offer certain additional services (optional extras). In the event of complaint with respect to a service from our 3rd party providers, we will try our best to resolve it satisfactorily. However, we cannot accept liability for such services.


  1. Information: Much of the accommodation information provided on our website and by our reservation centre is supplied by each apartment. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that all information provided online, by telephone and facsimile is accurate, Stay Metro Aparthotels cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions it may inadvertently contain.


  1. Availability: Confirmations are made by Stay Metro Aparthotels based on availability information supplied by apartments. In the unlikely event that Stay Metro Aparthotels is advised that an apartment is not available after Stay Metro Aparthotels has issued a confirmation to a guest, Stay Metro Aparthotels reserves the right to cancel the reservation with a full refund to the guest. Under such circumstances Stay Metro Aparthotels’ liability is limited to the payment received for the accommodation booked via Stay Metro Aparthotels and now being cancelled. This liability does not extend to travel commitments or other costs. In such an event we would naturally do all we can to offer alternative but equivalent accommodation.


  1. Occupants: Only persons notified to us prior to arrival may occupy the apartment. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit cannot not be exceeded. All guests of the booking must be aged 21 years or over (excluding families). Stay Metro Aparthotels will not accept bookings with the lead guest under this age. Total price of the reservation applies if the booking is refused due to the guests of the apartment being under the age of 21 years. To ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of our guests and other residents within the development, we operate ‘quiet hours’ between 8pm – 8am. We request our guests to be quiet and refrain from bringing an visitors to your apartment during the quiet period. All visitors (people that are not booked to stay at the apartments) must vacate the apartments during the quiet hours. All visitors of guests staying at the apartments must register with the reception for fire safety reasons. If any visitors are found staying in the apartments after the stated times, the lead guest of the booking will be charged additional fees and all the guests (including those who have booked to stay) will be evicted from the apartment. No refunds will be issued.


  1. Damage Liability: It is expected that the apartments are left in a clean and tidy order. You are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during your stay which has occurred due to negligence or omission. Any damage must be reported to us without delay. Any lost property will be held for 14 days and if it is not claimed it will be donated to a local charity. Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge guests who cause disturbance to other guests and tenants.


  1. Preauthorisation: Upon arrival Stay Metro Aparthotels reserves the right to request preauthorisation from the guest’s credit or debit card for £100 or more per apartment, or for large groups (two or more apartments), a preauthorisation of £500 or more as security against any damage and incidentals. Guest will be charged for damages /incidentals if any, from the amount preauthorised on your card. If the cost is more than the amount preauthorised, Stay Metro Aparthotels have the right to charge your card to cover the costs. A passport or driving licence will also be requested as proof of identification on arrival.


  1. Third Party Bookings. By making a 3rd party booking and agreeing to our terms and conditions at time of booking, you are authorising Stay Metro Aparthotels to charge your debit/credit card for the accommodation costs and any additional extras, administration fees, damages or penalties incurred during the 3rd party rental of accommodation from Stay Metro Aparthotels. Stay Metro Aparthotels may also require the guest staying in our accommodation to complete a pre-authorisation against any damages that may occur.


  1. Minimum Lead Guest Age: All guests must be 21 or over (excluding families). All guests may be asked to provide photographic identification as proof of age at the time of check-in. Stay Metro Aparthotels do not accept bookings where guests (excluding families) are under the age of 21. Please note that although a booking with guests under the age of 21 will not be accepted, total price of reservation will be charged to the booking.


  1. Cleaning and refreshes of Apartments: All apartments are cleaned by Stay Metro Aparthotels staff before the guest arrives. A complimentary refresh service is provided for Standard (junior) & Executive Suites’s stays of 7 days or longer where once a week, the apartment would receive a quick clean and the towels and bed linen would be changed. For stays under 7 days, no complimentary refresh service is provided, however a refresh service can be provided upon request at additional charges. For Premium Suites, an additional cleaning service is provided on the 4th day of the guest’s stay.


  1. Pets Policy: Pets are allowed and is subject to our terms & conditions. Additional Fees apply. Guests must provide us about the breed, house training and any other related information about their pets. Maximum one pet per apartment suite.

  1. Carparking : Underground parking facility is available at our properties. Our overnight parking is not 24hrs. It is calculated from Check-in time until Check out (i.e. 15:00hrs. on arrival date until 10:00hrs on departure date). If late checkouts are purchased, the parking time will be extended until late checkout time (2hrs. max). Parking is strictly subject to availability and must be pre-booked. Our car park has a height restriction of 2050mm. Parking permits must be collected from reception and must be clearly displayed on the windshield of your vehicle. Vehicle’s without a valid parking permit may be towed away from our premises. Disclaimer : Guest can park their car at their own risk. Management accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to your car whilst parking at our car park.


  1. Antisocial Behaviour: Stay Metro Aparthotels do not tolerate any antisocial behaviour from our guests staying at the apartments. The apartments are to be used by guests for accommodation purposes only and guests cannot conduct any business within the apartments. Stay Metro Aparthotels do not allow any parties or social gatherings in our apartments. Guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum during their stay and are expected to respect other guests staying at the apartments. Guests found using the apartments to conduct business or for parties/social gatherings will be evicted from the premises and no refunds will be issued. Further charges may apply. Any antisocial behaviour may result in eviction from our premises and no refunds will be issued and additional charges may apply.


  1. Commercial Activity: You cannot transfer or resell your booking (in whole or in part). If you transfer or resell (or attempt to transfer or resell) then Stay Metro Aparthotels will terminate your booking and retain any money paid to us for such booking. We may also refuse to take any further booking from you in the future. In making a Stay Metro Aparthotels booking you agree to not to use the Stay Metro Aparthotels or its facilities to conduct any commercial activity or activity that seeks to gain profit without prior written consent from Stay Metro Aparthotels. Stay Metro Aparthotels reserves the right to terminate your booking and retain any money paid to us for such booking if we believe that you are in full or part breach of this provision


  1. Local Reservations: Stay Metro Aparthotels has a policy to accept reservations from only non-local guests. Stay Metro Aparthotels do not accept reservations from local postcodes. For our Glasgow property, this means that guests with a Glasgow postcode (G or PA postcodes) will not be allowed to check-in.
